Cape Town International Dance Festival 2016: FIRST THURSDAY CAPE TOWN

CTIDF 2016 joins the Iziko National Gallery on Thursday Late by hosting its festival opening at the SA Museum Amphitheatre. Line up features, from the US, the all male hybrid dance company 10 Hairy Legs, from the Netherlands, work by renowned Dutch-Hungarian choreographer Krisztina de Châtel, and from Cape Town, iKapa Dance Theatre.
Four days, four locations and fourteen dance companies! iKapa Dance Theatre is proud to host, for the second year running, the Cape Town International Dance Festival from 1 to 4 December. Featuring dance in all its forms and cultural representations, from South Africa, the continent and abroad, the festival aims to establish an international platform featuring world-class creative content. It considers, engages with and explores the content, form and function of dance, as an independent arts discipline, as a collaborative tool in the broader creative arts field and as a tool for social change.
