#CTIDF2016 is thrilled to be hosting – with the generous support of the Austrian Embassy in Pretoria – The Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) Bodhi Project in Cape Town for this year’s festival. Imagine our excitement when they chose Cape Town and the festival platform to host the first ever South African auditions for entry into their prestigious academy programme.
AUDITIONS will take place on SUNDAY 4 DECEMBER from 10am to 1pm at On Pointe Studio, 5th floor, 112 Loop Street. Follow the links at the bottom of our Festival page to apply.
10 Nov update from SEAD: If you’re not able to access the SEAD Audition online application form as per instructions below, download the form here and send completed form, headshot, CV and letter of motivation to firstname.lastname@example.org
Note that 4 December is the only available time slot during their visit, a limited number of auditionees will be accepted. Get your application in asap.
But wait, there’s more…
#CTIDF2016 has programmed the following unique audition-prep opportunity:
On SATURDAY 3 DECEMBER from 10am to 1pm, SEAD, in collaboration with Cape Town’s YAOTL Physical Dance Company, will present a three-hour professional development WORKSHOP with space for 30 participants. If you’re an aspiring auditionee, come rub shoulders and compare jumps with students currently in the programme. This should also provide you with a great introduction to Bodhi Project, the Academy, its programmes and its work ethic.
